Site Design and Creation

The primary service I offer is the design and creation of web sites for small and medium businesses.

I also maintain existing sites and offer long term maintenance packages which provide excellent value for money.

If required, I can arrange additional services such as domain name registration, hosting, graphic design, photography and video production.

How It Works

From the initial interview, I will ascertain your requirements and develop a comprehensive proposal to meet your requirements. This will consist of a graphical representation, an overview of the structure of the site and an estimated cost for the project. Following further discussions, these proposals will be refined and a final quote for the project will be given.

Once the scope and the cost of the project has been agreed, the real work will begin. I will construct the pages of your website, populate databases, create graphics and edit photographs as discussed.

Once the site has been completed and approved, I will upload the site to your host's server. Once the site has been published I will, for an agreed period of time, be able to make minor adjustments as required. Following this period further alterations can be made subject to a service agreement.

Service Agreements

Service agreements are negotiated on an individual basis. These will be dependant on the complexity of the site and the frequency and size of updates required.

There are generally 3 levels of service agreement:

1. Annual Agreement: Up to an agreed number of hours per month for a period of 12 months and payable in advance. Additional hours will be charged at an agreed hourly rate.
2. 6 Month Agreement: Up to an agreed number of hours per month for 6 months and payable in advance. Additional hours will be charged at an agreed hourly rate.
3. Ad-hoc: Alterations will be made and charged for as and when required. These will be charged at an agreed hourly rate.
